Ai-Ai delas Alas' Realization Amidst Pandemic

Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas, realizes the importance of family than money in the midst of COVID-19.

“Importante talaga yung family. Importante yung pagmamahalan,” Comedy Queen said when she contacted by PEP.ph on the phone on Tuesday.

“Kasi ngayon, wala namang pinipili yung COVID-19, e.

"Mayaman, mahirap mamamatay ka..."

There is a great possibility that our life is in danger whatever the state of our life is because the anti-virus vaccine has not yet been discovered.

According to Ai-Ai,  “Kahit mayaman, mamamatay sa COVID-19.

“Hindi naman porke’t marami kang pera, hindi ka mamamatay, e.

"So, yun ang lesson sa akin.”

Ai-Ai makes it clear that money is important for everyone, yet, it does not give more meaning to our life.

“Importante siyempre para mabuhay tayo, pero hindi talaga 'yon ang essence ng buhay mo.

“Wala namang nagawa yung yaman mo laban sa COVID, e.

“Ang daming mga mayayamang namatay."

There's no guarantee that if a person has a lot of money, they won't be infected.

"Walang pang gamot," Ai-Ai said.

"Siguro let's be nice na lang to everyone," she added.

"Always pray, and kumbaga mag-ano na lang tayo sa desisyon ni Lord.

"Please, sana huwag na tayong magpasaway at sumunod na lang tayo sa gobyerno."

Since the COVID-19 crisis has not yet been fully controlled, Palace announces that the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) will expand in many parts of Central Luzon until May 15, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Region III, Region IV-A, and in other "high-risk" areas.

In the present time, Ai-Ai also worried about being infected by the virus.

"Ayoko namang magpaka-plastic pero ang worry ko lang, baka may magkasakit sa amin na isa.

"Kasi yun ang worry ng lahat. Tapos baka magkahawaan.

Ai-Ai believes that after the crisis, her showbiz career will continue.

She even mentioned that she would just renew his contract with GMA Network, and in fact, she was supposed to be taping in March but ECQ has mandated already. But Ai-ai said that she was still happy because there's a job that is waiting for her after ECQ.

“After naman nito, meron akong work... kasi, unang-una, kakapirma ko pa lang.

“Meron pa akong pa-surprise sa pagbabalik ng normal natin.

“May mga ganoon kaya okay naman ako, parang tuluy-tuloy pa rin ang career ko kasi bagong pirma lang ako sa GMA.

“Dapat magti-taping na ako ng March.

“Hindi natuloy kasi nga nag-total lockdown nga tayo.

“Hindi ko alam kung kelan ulit ako magti-taping, but hoping pa rin ako for the best.

“Tsaka sana lahat, na matapos na sana, lahat tayo makabalik na sa normal.”
